Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai, who is making his debut as CM, has made a bumper contribution to the PU lecturer.
CM Bommai has delivered the sweet news by raising the honor of PU lecturers to 32,000.
In the budget, Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai said that about 27,000 guest teachers would be maintained without any disturbance to the education of the children until there was direct recruitment to the vacancies of teachers.
Bommai said this was the first time in the state that Rs 500 crore has been earmarked for infrastructure development of government schools.
The state government has signed an agreement with the prestigious Universities overseas to upgrade the seven Government Engineering Colleges in Karnataka. CM said innovative universities will be established in Chamarajanagar, Bidar, Haveri, Hassan, Kodagu, Koppala and Bagalkot.
